Fun Thursday

 After a breakfast of bacon and pancakes we headed to Explora. Frank and Penelope had a great time. I love that they are old enough to be mostly independent with the activities and they understand the science that is included. We all had a good time. 







After Explora the kids finished their art masterpiece and planned the big reveal. 



It was a fun day.

    Looks like a great time!! Those building blocks would be my favorite I think!! I'm happy to see the artwork in a still, I love it!!

Fruits of our Labors

Early this Spring I planted tomato and pepper seeds for this year’s garden. Then came the stay home order so we decided to do a very large garden. The best part of gardening is the harvest. I’ve got tomatoes and peas in the freezer, Anasazi and lima beans drying and cucumbers in the pickle jar. I know that harvesting tells the plant to keep producing. Our garden is in “middle age” because it’s showing a few flaws but we are still getting lots of veggies.  At this time of year I like to eat something from the garden every day. Lots of Fun

 We have had a couple of fun days. We went to the zoo today. There are things that weren’t open or are being remodeled. We still had fun. Frank wondered if taking care of peacocks and peahens would be like taking care of chickens. Here are some pictures from the zoo and their new t-shirts.
