Water Day

We started the day with some fishing. It was hot and boring so we came home around noon. 

We relaxed a bit so Frank could read Harry Potter. Then it was time for water and color fun. 














A day like this needs a s’more. Don’t you agree?

Summer in Albuquerque

 Penelope was my kicking partner at Taekwondo on Wednesday. That was pretty special.  In the afternoon we decided to go to the museum of natural history. Unfortunately the naturalist center was closed. That’s always a favorite part. Frank impressed me with reading the Latin names of the prehistoric creatures. The animatronic dinosaur was awesome. We had a good time.

Fun Thursday

 After a breakfast of bacon and pancakes we headed to Explora. Frank and Penelope had a great time. I love that they are old enough to be mostly independent with the activities and they understand the science that is included. We all had a good time.  After Explora the kids finished their art masterpiece and planned the big reveal.  It was a fun day.
